The event is being held from Saturday 15 July to Sunday 16 July and promises an engaging and diverse program showcasing Brisbane’s rich heritage, cutting-edge design and innovative spaces.

BlueScope has a proud 100-year legacy of making steel in Australia and this year we are proud to be celebrating our 50-year anniversary of manufacturing in Queensland. As a local manufacturer we play not just a role in employing local people and contributing to the local economy but also in playing a role in shaping the city with locally made products across iconic Brisbane projects including the Storey Bridge, Suncorp Stadium and Anna Meares Velodrome. Our product is also a key feature of the traditional Queenslander home providing a safe roof to many Queenslanders.

At BlueScope we are proud supporters of good design and the role that the design and architectural community plays in shaping our cities and sense of place. We have an ongoing partnership with the Australian Institute of Architects spanning almost 40 years and we are so pleased to continue that commitment now with the Brisbane Open House Program.
